CBPOA - April 7, 2020 - Directors' Meeting -
Activities and Actions
Present: Andrew, Rona, Jim, Liz.
- The April 7, 2020 Director's Meeting was held via Zoom, because of the requirement for social distancing to combat the COVID-19 outbreak.
- A proposal was brought forth from Liz, Secretary, to send an email out to the Membership to communicate some pertinent news, and to include attachments from the March General Meeting.
- Connie Fenton offered to coordinate help for any member in need of deliveries of groceries or pharmaceuticals.
- Neighbours Against 24th Ave Rezoning: The CBPOA receives emails from this group but as the area in question is outside the area covered by the CBPOA, the decision was made to have our email removed from their mailing list.
- Discussion regarding the need for volunteers to take on the positions of President and Membership at the next Annual General Meeting. The suggestion was made that current Directors seek out possible candidates and approach them in person.
- It was decided not to hold a General Meeting on the first Wednesday in May. Instead, Directors will meet virtually again, via Zoom. Membership will be notified.
